You're A+++

Hey there!  Hope everybody had a great weekend. Mine started out pretty good and ended with a migraine from hell!!  We went out with a few friends on Friday night. Saturday I got up and felt fine (I was a good girl the night before). Took the family and headed to the Italian Fest....then the headache started kicking in. By the time we left there I went straight home, took some tylenol and crawled into bed. I stayed that way for a few hours. Woke up and I felt a little better. So I watched some netflix and did a little crafting until 3 a.m.!! haha Not my usually bedtime, I will tell you that!  Needless to say I was up bright and early on Sunday morning because it doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I will be up the next morning early!!

I wasn't much in a crafting mood yesterday. So I cleaned and drooled over the photos off all my friends and teammates posting CHA pictures!! Lucky girls.....what was I thinking!!  It still baffles me that I gave up a trip! LOL  I NEVER do that!  It's usually quite the opposite, my friends and family pick at me non-stop about the vacations that I go on each year. I love to vacation! This was just one that wasn't going to work out for me.....unbelievable!! lol

The image on todays card is "Lili's First Day of School" and it's from Inky Impressions. This is one of my favorites by Inky Impressions. I just love the way she looks! Probably because it reminds me SO much of my old school uniform, they were almost identical to this!  My mom use to buy us those old black and white shoes too, I can't remember the name right now..hrmm...Do you remember? It's driving me crazy! LOL

I colored Lili with copic markers. I had some thin cork material and I used a SU punch for the corner pieces. The sentiment is computer generated.

By any chance were the shoes called patent leather shoe or maryjanes?

Cute card, Tracy! I feel your pain about not going to CHA. I couldn't go either & it's driving me nutso seeing all the cuuute stuff there.
Are you thinking of black & white saddle oxford shoes? I used to wear those back in the day (although I'm much much older than you & it was a streeeeeetch to remember....LOL).
Have a FABulous week!

Saddle oxfords? Yea, we wore them, too! Hated them when I had to wear them, and then later they became the rage for a while! Then it was Doc Martins...always a new fad. Love your adorable little card, and just an FYI, you're not spending this time alone. There are many of us who didn't get to go to CHA! Whhaaaa...oh well. We'll suffer together.

I sure am sorry you had such a bad migrane. I hate to have them!! You card is so stinking cute!! I think that image is just adorable. How funny it reminds you of your school uniforms. I was going to tell you those shoes were saddle oxfords but everyone else beat me to it!!! LOL
I'm sad to be missing CHA too!! I find it unbelievable that I decided not to go too.
