Bountiful Blessings

Wow! Am I late posting this!!  Sorry, I think I got too caught up last week in the newest Stamping Bella Release that I just forget!  Yikes!

So this weeks challenge for BellaRiffic Friday is an inspiration photo.

I used Lulu's Two Pies from stamping Bella today. The paper is from Simple stories. I kept it super simple with cutting out my image from a Pierced MFT Oval Die.

Poof! Another Year has gone by.....

Good morning!  Today is a NEW Sketch challenge (sugarsketch 13) at SugarPea Designs.  I pulled out one of my favorites from SPD, Pure Magic to day. It's perfect for so many thing but it really makes the cutest masculine cards.

I had so much fun with todays sketch and I have to say I just LOVE how my card turned out today. The blue and green together are so pretty, IMO.  The paper is just perfect for this image and makes it nice and masculine  I colored up Pure Magic with Copic markers. I then cut it out and used a black marker around the edges to cover up any white left. The panels are all cut using my Perfect Layers Mini tools. I then stitched them.

Here is the today's sketch:

Today I used Bountiful Blessings. I have colored her with Copic markers. Remember you can get 5% off your tools using Tracy5% in the PPC store too.  Next I used a MFT Tab die to stamp out a sentiment from the set. I then stitched it to the matte.  I finished off my card with a button from October Afternoons and hemptique twine.  Don't forget to get your Stamp and Die STORAGE Pouches too! I have converted all my stamps to this type of storage now. I will share this in the upcoming weeks.

Happy Birthday.....

Today I am using a fun stamp from Pollycraft along with my Perfect Paper Crafting tools to create this simple but cute card. I decided to break out my color spritzer to do a blue background for my image. The color spritzer will hold a variety of markers including SU and Distress Markers. I used a SU marker as that is what I have on hand. First let me say, my markers are OLD, meaning not new and juicy but I still had no problems getting the background I desired.

You place the marker into the holder as pictured:

Then you squeeze the "bulb" of the spritzer to add color to your paper. That's it!!

Next I used my 1/16 inch Perfect Layers Mini tool to create my layers around my background. The Perfect Layers Mini tools are perfect for us cardmakers! You can get your Perfect Tools and get 5% off by using code Tracy5% in the store!!!

Next I cut my image out and mounted it on the background using foam dots. I like doing this as it adds a bit of dimension to my cards so they aren't so flat.

Thank you for stopping by today

May Your Glass Be Half Full.....

Hellooooo and good morning!  It's Friday!!  I have been counting down to the weekend and I am thrilled that it's finally here.

I don't have much in terms of plans....just hanging out...maybe some game night with the friends....a drink or two...maybe three.

So this weeks challenge at Stamping Bella is a 3-2-1 challenge  - 3 papers, 2 embellishments and 1 image.

I was a bit challenged in this, if you follow me normally you know I do NOT do much in terms of embellishments these days. So I continued to keep it simple and added a button and some sequins!

More importantly, have you been following Stamping Bella lately?? Holy Cow!! Can you believe we are releasing 45 NEW images this month! yeah....that's crazy amazing and I am super excited about it.  We have loads of Uptown girls, new Mo Manning in RUBBAH....and more Christine Grove images. Seriously my pocket book is going to be empty!

Next weeks challenge is a SKETCH! You can email in your cards to Emily.
