Elisabeth Bell - Note Card Holder

Good morning! It's my day to post on Markerpop and thursdays are always 3-D projects. So today I am sharing with you a note card holder I created awhile back ago.

I used a grand nestie for the base. Made a generic box to attach to it, which holds the 4x4 note cards.  The sentiments are all from My favorite things. The image is called Cinnamon Sugar by Whimsy Stamps. She is available for purchase at Markerpop.

Also, this will be my last post until after the new year. I am going to take the time off to spend with my family. I just want to wish each of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  I will see you back in 2013.....

On my Mind....SOG New Release

Hello again! I'm back with a last clear stamp release for this month by Some Odd Girl. Today we are using Flirty Mae and isn't she soooo sweet!

So this week we have showcased.... Love me Not Mae, Love Bandits and now Flirty Mae. Which one was your favorite? My favorite is probably Love me Not, but it's a hard choice to pick just one!!

It comes with a couple different words and phrases. I used 2 together on here. She is colored with Copic markers. I then used some Vintage seam binding and added a pearl in the center.

Come by the Some Odd Girl Blog and check out the other DT's creations. We have an AMAZING team.....such talented ladies!!

Yummy in my tummy tag

Good morning!! 7 more days til Christmas...are you ready?? I'm not! Which is SO NOT like me. I'm usually finished by mid November so I'm feeling a little bit pressured and stressed right about now. It was all those darn vacations!!

I had a monster cookie baking day on Saturday. My mom, sister and sis-in-law got together and baked ALL DAY LONG. It was crazy and I was exhausted! We ended up making 18 types of cookies!! They are all delicious. We then packaged them up and gave them out to family and friends.

The Ribbon Carousel's monthly challenge is still underway and it's holiday themed. So with my baking marathon and the theme I thought this little tag was fitting.

The image is Gingerbread Kaylee from Some Odd Girl. She is colored with copic markers. The paper is simple stories. I used some Green Jute that I picked up from the Ribbon Carousel.

If you get a chance, do come play with us at the Carousel. The prize each month is a Ribbon Carousel!! How cool is that?

Hugs

Love Me Not Mae - New Release

Good morning! Fun stuff this week, Some Odd Girl has a couple new stamp releases and you are going to love them. I know I do!  Todays release is Love Me Not Mae.

Love Me Not was colored with Copic markers. I used my sewing machine to stitch around. Please don't laugh. My regular maching, which I love, is out of commision and I need to desperately take it in to get fixed. In the meantime I heard all these great reviews on the Janome Sew Mini, well let's just say the machine and I do not get along!!! So there are LOTS of wobbles.  I also always screw up on which stitch I have it set on....so it was on the little itty bitty stitch and I started and it was too late. Thats what I get for trying to stitch on a colored image. I WAS NOT redoing it!!!

The paper is Prima's Rondele collection - love this one.  The ribbon is papertrey. The beautiful sentiment is one of the sentiments that are included with the Love me Not Mae set.

You can see the other DT's cards, they are all so fabulous, on the Some Odd Girl Blog.

Tracy
