Boy, I love you!

Morning! I have a Solo post today on the SOG blog.  Valentines is coming up quick, so I couldn't resist using Lovey Tobie.

It’s getting close to Valentines Day. Do you do anything special each year? We are kind of boring in my house, I usually cook dinner and the whole family sits and eats. Exciting, huh! Last year I made a chocolate fondue and had all sorts of yummy things to dip. That was a hit, especially with the kids. Not sure what this years plans will be as it is becoming a very busy week for us. I may actually get to go out this year. Never know!

Thanks for looking!

Sweet Dreams

Hey Ya'll!  Yep, gotta get my twang coming out. Totally was countrying it out this weekend seeing Luke Bryan! Oh yea!  It's not hard for it to come out either. Anytime I get around my sister or visit the south, it comes back, not alot of it, but little things do!  I went to middle school and high school in South carolina and picked up an accent quite quick. Though to them I was still a northerner but to my friends up north, I was totally "country".  Anyways, Luke was amazing!!!  He is one of the BEST performers....love him!  I went to bed that night having "sweet dreams"!

As I said in my previous post, I was selected to go to Round 2 of the Krafting Kimmie GDT challenge.  Here is another entry that I completed to submit. I was stoked that I received my new stamps the day it was announced because I was dying to color this image. It's so precious!

The stamp comes from the Sweet Dreams collection and was part of the latest release by Kraftin' Kimmie.

The challenge was to use PINK. I used some beautiful papers by Carte Bella.  My image is colored with Copics. The background was also done with copics. There were MANY layers to it and MANY colors.  I just kept adding in different colors until I was happy with it. I wasn't happy with it until it dried and I love how it turned out.

Thanks for looking and wish me luck!

Hugs,
Tracy

I used this cutie called, Myriam from Switzerland by Kraftin Kimmie. She is colored with Copic markers. I used some beautiful paper by Kaiser Kraft. Love, love!

Friends Forever...

Good morning!  I hate coming back from a long weekend. I needed 2 more days!!  Seriously....as Alicia Keys would say.... This Girl was On FIRE!  I got so many things done. I made lots of cards, had dinner with friends,  I cleaned my closet out.  This was a huge task. I could barely get into it I had so much stuffed in there.  Now it looks purdy. I made 60 cupcakes with my sister for her son's cub scout meeting.  It was an all around good weekend.

I'm posting on the Markerpop blog today. I have a little tip/trick that I used to get the holes punched in my paper. You can see it HERE.

I used Blush Bonnie from The Greeting Farm.  The papers are my new FAVORITE - They are from The Sweetest Thing - Tangerine from My Minds Eye. I think I made 4 or 5 cards using it over the weekend. LOVE LOVE!  The Sentiment is from the Hey Kaylee Set by Some Odd Girl.

Thank you Beary Much...

Morning! Thank goodness it's friday!! I have waited for this day since last Sunday!  It's a long weekend for me too, so I'm a happy camper!  Tonight a friend of mine is coming over and we are hoping to have some crafty fun. If you follow me on instagram you can see all my lunchtime coloring. Now I need to get those bad boys onto a card!!   So thats my goal for tonight. Make lots of card and get caught up because I have a busy month coming up!

Today I used Lulu and Friends from Kraftin' Kimmie. She is colored with Copic markers. She is so cute!! However, I am horrible at coloring animals...I always panic when I have to color an animal. The whole fur, shading and what colors to use thing always throws me off!!

Thanks for looking today and have a GREAT weekend!!

Tracy

Let's Party...

Good morning! Quick share this morning. I had a little extra stamping time on my hands last week so I was able to color up some neglected stamps that I just love but haven't had time to get to them!  One of them was this cutie called "Julie" from Kraftin' Kimmie.

I am always in need of Birthday cards. They are definitely the ones that I use the most.  Julie made a nice addition to my birthday stamp collection!  I colored her with Copic markers. Added some Stardust stickles to her hat and some of the gifts because there is always room for glitter!

Thanks for looking today!

Love of Reading.....

Today I am sharing the an inspiration challenge on the MarkerPop blog. The theme is "For the love of"....well I happen to LOVE books. I colored up Geekin' It by Saturated Canary.

I used copic markers to color. I added some liquid glass to her glasses, which I think made them really pop and come to life!  Love this School Daze paper pad by My Minds Eye.  I finished my card off with some stitching. Oh and the sentiment is from Kraftin' kimmie.

We have a bi-weekly challenge going on at Markerpop!  Come by and check it out!  More importantly, we are having a Design Team call!  Thats right, you could be a designer with Markerpop.  Click here for all the details.

You Make My Heart Flutter...Treat Bag

Good Morning!  So I got crazy excited when Markerpop started to carry the Saturated Canary line from Little Darlings. I'm a huge fan of these adorable girls and LOVE to color them. They have so many layers to them and there hair is the best for coloring!!

I thought I would make a little Treat bag cover. Super simple!! The base is a 8 1/2 x 5 piece of cardstock. I then scored it at 5", turned it and scored it again at 5". I used a cello bag that you can get in the candies area of your local craft store to add in my candies. I added my embellishments and image before I folded up the cover. It's kept together by punching to holes at the top and adding a ribbon to tie it off. You could also staple it shut if you find that easier!

The image is Little Lady Bug by Saturated Canary. I have colored her with Copic markers. I then added some stardust stickles to her wings and antennaes. The paper is from Fancy Pants - Love Notes 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment is from Flutter Heart set by The Greeting Farm.

Happy Birthday Bag...

Good morning! This week I am sharing a project on the SOG blog showcasing the Spectacular Soiree digi stamp.

I made a gift bag with my image for a birthday gift. Love the bright colors in the paper.  I was ready to get away from Christmas colors...bring on Spring!!! Actually, we haven't even had a "winter" here in Florday yet. This morning it was HOT and HUMID! ughhh. I need to move to a place that is about 72 degrees year round...;-) Not to cold not to hot.

Come on by the SOG Blog and you can check out a couple of our DT's members projects using Spectacular Soiree too!
