Play Day!

Today my friend, Lisette, came over and joined me in some creative play.  She was busy playing and learning her distress inks, while I just wanted to get some stamps inked and colored. I am pretty comfortable coloring faces on with my Copics, but I have definitely NOT gotten comfortable with coloring and shading things like dresses.  I have a pretty good selection and # difference in my Copics, but I just can't seem to get the light shades. I always seem to lay the color on quite heavy.  So I played with Copics and my Prisma colorpencils.

I won't tell you about my horrible "snow white" Tilda experience. Ok, maybe I will. I botched her hair up.....I really botched it up. But, I moved on.......I finished a total of one card!! Here she is....

Tilda is colored with Copics and Prisma Colorpencils. The flowers are Primas.

I used Flower Soft on the flowers she is holding. I haven't really played with the Flower Soft to much, but have enjoyed the way it looks the times I have.

This card qualifies for the  Just Magnolia  Challenge and Stamptacular (bc I think it would make the perfect "mom" card and Papertake Weekly, and another Charisma cardz Challenge

Cute, Cute, Cute. I've never used flower soft but it looks good here. The yellow/mustard color is one of my favorites with rust and blues.

Tracy, Your card is adorable! I'm glad that I checked it out. You asked about paper on my blog and I couldn't find an email address for you. I use the following paper only: http://beepaper.com/paper/artist-marker-pad.asp
It's great with both copics and watercoloring.
