Tilda and Edwin in a Winter Wonderland!

Evening all!!  Gosh, I really don't want to go to work tomorrow! The weekends always fly by. I really need a week off with nothing to do.  I wouldn't be happy with just that either though. Sometimes I think I should have stayed at home longer with my kids...but sometimes I am grateful for the extra income because I sure do love to vacation!!

I have been on the computer trying to book something in Charleston, SC. My high school years were spent in South Carolina so I am quite familiar with it, however, I was very floored to see that Hotel prices in Charleston were similiar to hotel prices in other major cities such as NYC, Boston, etc. Our little weekend getaway is going to end up costing alot more than planned, but Charleston is so beautiful it's worth it. Next trip I would love to not take the kids and stay in this B&B called 2 Meeting Street Check it out.....It is absolutely gorgeous, just what you would expect from a city with so much Southern Charm.

I have been busy working on a workshop for Close to my Heart but I did manage to squeeze in one Magnolia card this weekend.

Ok, so is this paper from Bo Bunny not the cutest???? When I was in Sarasota last weekend I hit the scrapbook store and I think I bought out their supply!! haha Not really, but I did come home with at least 15 sheets of this line. You know, some for cardmaking and some for scrapbooking!

The card is colored with Copic Markers and Prisma color pencils. I used Flower Soft for the snow. I drew the trees with Prisma Color pencils and gamsol as well as the blue sky. I used a white Sharpie poster pen for the snow on the trees and crystal stickles for the "ice".  The chipboard snowflake is from bazzill. The sentiment is from my new favorite place, Catslife Press.

How cute this is Tracy! I love their bright red cheeks - just like real winter! I remember it being so cold when I was a kid that our cheeks and noses were bright red! Your coloring is beautiful and the little line of trees is delightful. Love how you pulled the card together with the sweet sentiment and the snowflake!
Great job...hugs...Barb
