Silent Night Tilda

I am SOOOOO happy that the weekend is here! It wasn't a stressful week, but it was a never ending week. I just got silent night tilda a few days ago and I was anxious to ink her up and play. I have been pondering buying her for awhile. I figured since Christmas was a few months away I would hold off a bit. Now that it's getting close, I snatched her up.  She is one of my favorites. Hrmm...I think I have said that before!

I also created this for the Just Magnolia Challenge, which this week is using the Cracked Glass technique. I didn't have any Clear Ultra Thick embossing powder, so I had to layer about 4 layers of regular clear embossing powder to get the effect and I think it probably could have used a few more layers. I still like how it turned out!

Tilda was colored with Copic markers and the background (which faded out ALOT when I embossed it) was done with prisma color pencils. The DP is from Cloud 9, the CS is from my stash not, feels like Bazzill. The flowers are Prima. The Seal is from Catslife Press.

challenges:

Just Magnolia - Cracked Glass
Stamp w/ Fun - Sketch
PaperPlay Challenge  - Stitches
Stamp Something - Something Cute (am I pushing it, I think it's cute!!)

Thanks for looking and have a fabulous weekend and holiday!

Tracy this card is just gorgeous. Love the DEEP reds you used on her outfit. I LOVE my Copics but have a little trouble with my reds feathering sometimes when I use them. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Anyway I love this little Tilda & you've done a superior job with her.
Hugs, Janie

Tracy, this is just beautiful. I love the deeper reds and greens of Christmas, rather than the bright tones. Beautiful! Is there a tutorial somewhere for the cracked glass technique? Really neat effect.
