Farm Fresh Challenge - B&W

Good morning. Ok, Ok, I know I am late on this but I FINALLY started to read 50 Shades of Grey over the weekend and well, my life will never be the same. Seriously. Haha. I am just starting book 3 and I am feeling quite sad....like I know it's going to end and I'm not quite sure how I plan on handling that!! LMBO.  Ok I'm kidding...but seriously, it is a great book and not just for all the hot juicy stuff. The writing isn't all that great, but the story of Sir Grey is definitely interesting! So I am going to make this post super quick as I have a book to go read!!!

Today I am hosting the Farm Fresh Challenge on The Greeting Farm blog. I want to see you creations using Black, white and one other color!

I used Prince Ian and Princess from the latest release by The Greeting Farm.  The paper is from My Minds Eye. I used the same paper and created a rolled flower to coordinate!

Exciting News and Dots and Stripes!

Hellllllllo Bloggie friends! I hope everybody had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. Mine was pretty darn nice, didn't do much but that  is exactly what I wanted!  I had a pretty nice lunch with my mother, father, brother and sister and their families. Came home and vegged a little. Then did dinner with in the in-laws.  My daughter made me a beautiful crown....and yes I wore it in the restaurant. How could I not? 

I do have some exciting news. I was asked to join the girls over at the Ribbon Carousel. I seriously think I may be in trouble because these girls are a rare breed of donkeys. No kidding!!! I can't wait to work with them all, they are all a hoot. So I was so excited about being asked to join that I hopped onto my blog and I was going to add the "crew" badge and what do you know, I was OUT OF SPACE! Yay...NOT COOL!!! I was freakin' out. I'm like, seriously??? So there I go googling how to get space and/or delete pictures from blogger. It took me a little while, but I figured it out. I know have space back...thank goodness. However, I had to delete alot of pictures from some of my old post. I tried only deleting the "artsy fartsy" shots. You know the ones that are at an angle...etc! :-) So all is right in the world now...thank goodness!

Todays card is for the La-La Land challenge. I only have 2 more weeks as GDT. :-( This weeks challenge is "Dots and Stripes". I used Travel Marci and the NEW Street Lamp DIE from La-La Land. You read that correctly. La-La Land Crafts is now doing their own Dies and they are beautiful. They cut so well too. No probably popping the cardstock out at all!

The paper is from the Vintage Marketplace by Bazzill.Paper 6x6 paper pad. I printed out a qoute from my computer. The pink twill ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel...

Hey Girlfriend....

I hope everybody's weekend was great. Mine blew by way to quickly!!  I had a nice time though.  I spent a little bit of time at my LSS stamping with the girls. Midway on Saturday I totally lost my mojo though. I think I was too busy thinking of margaritas later that night! haha  So I met up with my brother and a friend for some Cinco De Mayo fun!  I just love those Presidente Margaritas at Chilis. Yummy!  Sunday was movie day with the family. I can't believe I got my husband to wait until Sunday to see Avengers....but he graciously did. LOL  It was torture for him too!! 

Today is Monday...another work week...sigh.

It's also a new challenge at La-La Land Crafts!  This weeks challenge is called Hey Girlfriend and we are bringing out the "Girlfriends Collection". Today I chose to use Jesalyn. She is truly a sassy little thing.

I used some new papers from prima. Love the colors.  I colored Jesalyn with Copics. Used the lacey square spellbinder to cut out the square.

The copics I used today are:

Dress: V20, V22, V25, V28
Hair: E21, E23, E25, E29
Skin: E000, E00, E11, V20
Shoes/jewelry: C00, C3, C5

Welcome Little One - CC

Good morning! I'm here today with a Baby Gift Tag! Did you see all the new Humpreys that are out from Crafter's Companion? They are available in the store and are so very adorable. One of my favorites is this cute Welcome Little One Humprey.

I created the tag rather large to be placed on a large baby gift. The dimensions are 6 x 4 1/2. I then colored Welcome Little One with Spectrum Noirs. The colors I used were:

BGR1, IG1, DG4, PL1, PL2 and CT3
The sentiment is included in the set. I cut around it and added a little button to the middle.  Used up some old CTMH flowers I had laying around. The paper is from Simple Stories.
