Hello! I hope everybody's weekend was great. Mine was busy and extremely exhausting. I was busy baking and cooking for my daughters birthday and I had 2 other parties to go to in between that. Needless to say yesterday I think if finally got to me and I am now officially sick. ughhh. Hoping it just from exhaustion and I start feeling better. Until then I plan to lay around and read. I just finished reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. Wow...truly amazing she is. I just want to give her a hug! If you haven't read it and if you have ever thought you had a bad childhood....you may not feel that way after reading about hers.
So I will get to this weeks challenge over at Markerpop and then I will share a few pictures from my daughters birthday party. This week's challenge is sponsored by Some Odd Girl and we want to see bright colors.
I also wanted to point out that I used ShinHan Twin Touch markers for this card! MarkerPop now carries Copics and Shinhans, so I thought why not try them out. I had heard some amazing things about them and frequently see some projects around that are amazing. They have a couple other color combos that you just don't quite have with the Copics, which is nice too.
You can also you them in conjunction with your copics. Overall, I have to say I really like them. They go on, work and feel just like Copics do, which is great. I have tried other markers and I liked them, but I certainly could have never seen myself switch. But with these, if I had to, I definitely wouldn't be sad...they really are nice.
The colors I used are:
Skin: YR132, YR133, BR107
Hair: BR109, BR104, BR94
Pink: RP137, RP9, R18
Blue: PB76, PB183 and PB185
Our challenges at MarkerPop are now running every 2 weeks! So hope that you get an opportunity to play along with us.
