Good Evening! Well I can hardly believe it but I will be celebrating my 1 year anniversary on my blog!! Yea me! Now technically I started a blog wayyyyyyyy before that, but I didn't really "Blog" KWIM. I had a couple of sporadic post but thats about it. Anyways, 1 year and 200+ followers later here I am still steady blogging. I love it. My friend
Lisette and I started about the same time. She was my inspiration to start and she has also been my enabler the entire way. Meaning, without her, I probably would have that new car I want/need and I probably could have squeezed a few extra vacations in this year!!! But I was blessed with daily emails to check this blog or that online store out to see all this crazy cute stuff that I just couldn't pass up. I have continued to blog because I need an excuse on why I bought over 100 magnolias in less than a year...and 250 copics...and...you see where this is going??? lol Thank you Lisette! LOL I love all my card making supplies!!!
I truly have enjoyed blogging and I love all the friends (close and faraway) that I have come across via blogland. That is why it has been so much fun!! I also love and appreciate all the comments that come my way. Crafters are a great bunch of ladies and because of that I want to spread some love via BLOG CANDY!

Hi Tracy, The main reason I started on New Years day this year to blog was to become better at the fast racing world of technology and the obvious benefits of using it daily, it becomes second nature and with baby steps I've improved out of sight with help from my best friend, now I can teach her stuff. She sets me homework and now I've taken my love of stamping and card making and now even entered challenges & also I'm keen on your candy!

Congrats on your first Blogoversary! I completely agree with you about scrapbooking vs. cardmaking...I have been scrapbooking for years..mostly to make my mom happy since she's really into it but, didn't really get into cardmaking until just after this past Christmas..I had made a few cards and taken a couple of cardmaking classes a few years ago and have always found it more fun than scrapbooking but, I am still only in my mid-twenties and I just never got hooked on it until recently. Since Christmas, I have accumulate SO MUCH stuff! It really has become an addiction...I needed so many other things that I refused to get into copics until now..I just got my first 66 markers (found them on sale @ dickblick.com for $3.90 each)..I have most of the major tools now and was feeling very limited by not being able to colour images. Now I just need to build on my copic collection, get some nesties, and one can never have too many stamps and embellishments! I have bought a lot of things through craigslist and a lady I bought an item off of in January asked me if I did challenges and to be honest, I didn't even know what they were! I had no idea that this cardmaking subculture even existed! After that, I started looking at other peoples blogs and challenge blogs and decided to start blogging so I could enter challenges. I found it hard at first to put myself, "out there", but, now I'm so glad I did! It's so nice to meet others with the same interests and to find inspiration and learn about new techniques and products through other peoples work! Btw, your cards are just TOO CUTE! I look forward to your future posts. Sorry for the LONG comment, lol.
