Happy Saturday! I am so happy to be able to post a Tilda today! I have been so busy working on cards for DT's (which I equally love) that I haven't gotten an opportunity to make a card using a Maggie. Last night I had an awesome workshop with 8 ladies. It turned out great. The projects, if I do say so myself, were really great. The food was equally good. I tried out a new dip, Baked Sweet Onion Dip, Oh my...we were ALL surprised at how DeLish it was! So good, you can find the recipe at
Tasty Kitchen. If you havent been to Tasty Kitchen, it's one of my favorites for finding great recipes. Ree of the
Pioneer Woman put together Tasty Kitchen and I would advise you to check out her
blog. It's Fantastic...hands down my favorite for cooking, photography and other little things.
So back to my card you can find this little cute Snowy Tilda over at
Magnolia-Licous store, she is out of stock right now, but I am sure she will be back in soon!
I colored Snowy Hugs Tilda with Copic marker and Prisma Color pencils. The papers are a mixture of My Minds Eye and Close to My Heart. They just happened to go very well together, IMO. I punched out the snowflakes from some Martha Stewart punches and added some Liquid Applique, heated them up to get the puffiness. Then added stickles for some sparkle and some rhinestones for some Bling, bling!
The sentiment was computer generated by myself. I added a border around it with a Just-Rite border stamp. I used Flower Soft for the snow. Sewed up all the edges with my handy lil' sewing machine and Voila! Super Cute Card...IMO!
