This past weekend I had the pleasure of hooking up with some amazingly talented stampers.  I had anxiety when It came to creating anything....seriously. I don't know if it had to do with being around all that talent or just not being in my little crafty room with all of my things. lol  I did manage to get a couple of things completed an this was one of them. I love how it came out.

This is from the Down on the Farm set. I LOVE this set, and you will to! The sentiments are so sweet too.

I used some paper from 2 differen't paper pads. I had to improvise because I wasn't at home and didn't drag everything with me.  The paper is from MME and Farmhouse. The scallopped border is an MFT die, the lacey oval is also MFT.

This was my first attempt at making clouds using my copics. Normally I just sponge on some color using a cloud template. I do like how they came out.

...
All the Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests listed below have lots of super sweet designs to show you, so be sure to hop over to each of them! And while you're there, be sure to leave a comment because we are giving away one of EACH of the new sets!!! SOG - Watering Can

Good morning!! It's humpday for most  but today is my Friday!! So excited!  I am taking off for a couple of days and lucky me I get to spend it with some AMAZING ladies. Some of which, you probably stalk their blogs like I do!!

Today we are sharing another of the latest digi releases from Some Odd Girl. This one is Watering Can Tia.

Tia is colored with Copic markers.  The paper is from my favorite Tangerine by MME paper pad. The day I was making up a bunch of cards I think I grabbed it most of the time!  I didn't add a sentiment as I'm not sure just yet what I will use this for.

Be sure to come by the SOG Blog to see the rest of the release and all the DT's fabulous creations!!!

Thinking of You.....

Good morning!! It's Friday!! Are you doing the happy dance? I am!! I love my weekends, although it's another busy one. I have Bday party tonight for my brother.  Tomorrow I will be volunteering at at a Mets Spring Training Game all day. Hopefully I will find a little bit of time for some crafting as I have a couple deadlines coming up!!

It's the first of the month and that means there is a new challenge on the Some Odd Girl blog!  We have a sketch for you too...

I used Sweet Thinkin' Mae.  Funny thing, I colored her all up, put my card together then went online to do my blog post. I go into the SOG store to grab her link and noticed a VERY similiar color pattern!!  It was NOT intentionally! LOL  Just a total coincidence!  I have a stamper friend and that happens to us ALL the time. It's kinda funny. I will post something and she will text me with a card she did but hadn't posted yet that is almost identical. Or vice versa. Crazy!

By the way, don't forget there is still 2 days to get in your application to join the SOG DT!

Hugs,
Tracy

Cuppa Mae and a Box Tutorial....

I don't know about you all, but I am a Pinterest addict! I love going there for all sorts of inspiration. Especially crafty ideas and recipes!! Awhile back ago I found this simple box by Cosmo Cricket made from a 12x12 piece of cardstock.  They have a video tutorial available. I did a photo tutorial which I happen to like because I don't have to pause in between steps!!

 Get your scor-board out!!

Score your paper at 3" and 9", then turn...

Score the other side at 5" and 7".

Crease the score lines.

Here is where it gets a little tricky.  You have to bring the center out to the sides like this...

After you do all 4 sides, you will end up with something that looks like the below:

Unfold and add a strong adhesive such as Scor-tape, ATG, etc.

Add tape to all 4 locations as shown:

Adhere.

You should have something now that looks like this:

Now it's time for the fun stuff. You can decorate the outside as you wish. Be sure to add a flap to it so you can close the box easily.

I used Cuppa Mae from Some Odd Girl. Colored with my copic markers. The paper is from Bo Bunny.

Thanks for stopping by.

Fashionably Late

Good morning! I am definitely fashionably late on this card! We have the latest challenge going on at Markerpop this week and it's "Buttons", it's started Monday but you have plenty of time to join in.

I used "Anya Styles" from The Greeting Farm.  These images are so much fun to color. They are LARGE, which can be challenging....but fun!  And the Hair...FUN! Love how it came out too.  I used papers from Paris Girl collection by Carta Bella.

Btw - I have a little Facebook Giveaway going on too.  Like MY PAGE, share it, leave a comment for a chance to win 2 stamps. One from The Greeting farm and another from Stampavie! ;-)

Thanks for looking.

Hey there! It's day 2 of the latest Clear stamp releases from Some Odd Girl. Todays release is an addition to Kaylee's Closet - Fairy Wings.

I love playing with Kaylees hair and adding fun colors!  To add the clothing onto Kaylee I used the masking technique. Super easy to do.  The paper is from a Prima Marketing pack.

Make Everyday Magic

I am going to bombard you this morning with lots of goodness. I was SICK all weekend. Apparently I partyed way to hard at Mardi Gras last week and when I came home on thursday I wasn't feeling quite like myself. Then I started to get congested....and full on cold. Yuck!  Today is seriously the best I have felt and thats not saying much because I am most definitely NOT 100% yet. But at least I feel somewhat alive!!

This week is the new clear stamp releases for SOG.  I'll have another one for you in a little while.

Yesterdays release was called FAIRY MAGIC.

Thanks for looking!

Maggie Heart Treat Box

Good morning! Happy Valentines day!  Lucky me just got back from a fabulous trip to Mardi Gras! Our first time and it was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!  I'm tired and exhausted and will share more later....but since today is Valentines day I wanted to share with you my last project!!   A little treat box.

So simple to do. Cut out 2 heart shapes using whatever die or die cutting machine you have. Then I took a strip of cardstock that was 3" x 6". I scored 1/2 on each side of the 3" sides. Then I scored in the middle of the 6" long side. I then cut a notch at that score mark so that I could fold it. I adhered the strip to the hearts to form a box. I then added a simple strip of cardstock for the handle.
Since these do not stand straight, I would use a cello bag filled with candy for the stuffing!

I have used Tilda with Cozy Heart from Magnolia. The paper is XOXO from American Crafts.

Thanks for looking today!

Tracy

Image is LadyBug from Saturated Canary. Colored with Copics. the paper is from Love Notes by Fancy Pants. The heart die is La La Land Crafts. Love the latest dies by them!

Oh Mr. Grey....

Hey there! Quick post today. I'm trying to get all my valentine cards posted!! Seems simply huh, but it's not. I am super busy this week. So much going on and so much to do.

This is actually a card front. I made it because I was framing it for the hubs. I love this image. Yes I was one of those people who got hooked on the 50 shades series. Yes I thought the writing was crap....but I wasn't reading it for the writing!!!

This is a Digi from Saturated Canary, but you can get it in rubber now as well. The paper is Devoted from Carta Bella. Love this line! The colors are beautiful. I grabbed the sentiments from a valentine set by The Greeting Farm.  The Die is from La La land Crafts - love those hearts.

Thanks for looking!

Fairy wishes....

Note:  This is my second post today. Scroll down to see Shy Fairy from Some Odd Girls latest release...

I guess I am having a Fairy kinda week.  My earlier post was all about Fairies as is this one!

I used Summer Flower Tilda from Magnolia. She is so sweet, love how her little legs look, kinda bowed out.  I used copics to color her and did a dotted background. I just grabbed some random colors that I saw in the papers I was using and layered them on. I was so excited that I was finally able to use that ribbon! I bought it so long ago and never had something that it would look right with. It's gorgeous and went perfectly, IMO, with this paper! ;-)

Thanks for looking today and remember to scroll down to see Shy Fairy from Some Odd Girl!

Good morning. This week we are releasing new Fairies at Some Odd Girl and they are CUTE! You can come by the Some Odd Girl Blog and see the 2 other releases.

Today I used Shy fairy. These are all Digis stamps!! I know some people don't care for digis, but I have to tell you. I love them!!  I can make them any size and they barely take any space. Also, if you have a Cameo, check out Sammi's awesome tutorial on how to cut out Digis!!

Thanks for looking and head on over to the shop to grab your SHY FAIRY!

Love you!

Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, my house stayed clean this week so I had alot of me time.  Not to mention we enjoyed some company with friends.  For Superbowl we kept it low key this year and just stayed home. I made a few Sm. appetizers and we just hung out with the family. Perfect end to a great weekend. Ravens won to boot!

I must admit I haven't been a fan of the latest Maggies coming out. Gasp....I know..I know. But I did LOVE this cutie.  I think it was the ONLY one I bought from that line...which is so not like me!! :-)

This maggie is called Tilda with Heart.  She is colored with Copic markers. The paper is Devoted from Carta Bella.  Love the colors in this line.

Thank for looking today. I have lots coming up this week, so check back often! ;-)

Boy, I love you!

Morning! I have a Solo post today on the SOG blog.  Valentines is coming up quick, so I couldn't resist using Lovey Tobie.

It’s getting close to Valentines Day. Do you do anything special each year? We are kind of boring in my house, I usually cook dinner and the whole family sits and eats. Exciting, huh! Last year I made a chocolate fondue and had all sorts of yummy things to dip. That was a hit, especially with the kids. Not sure what this years plans will be as it is becoming a very busy week for us. I may actually get to go out this year. Never know!

Thanks for looking!
