Be Mine...

Good morning. Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was pretty decent, have to admit I am already looking forward to my long weekend coming up though. 2 days is just not enough time for me to unwind!!

I figured I better get to sharing a valentines card I made seeing as though it's coming up in just a few days. Any big plans for the day? We don't usually do too much and this year my hubby and daughter are going to a daddy/daughter dance together that night. She is super excited!

Today I am sharing a Magnolia "Tilda with Broken Heart"  I believe that was what her name was. It's been awhile and I didn't label it!!  I colored her with copics and did some shading with pastel pencils.  The paper is Papertrey Ink and MME.

Will You Be Mine.....

Good morning!  Here today to share with you a magnolia that I colored recently. I haven't colored a Maggie in so long. It' was nice coloring just to color and not because I had to.

Tilda is all colored up with Copic Markers. Did a little bit of shading with pastel pencils. The scallop is cut out with a spellbinder die. I added some faux stitching with a marker. Finished it off with some enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Birthday Tag

So I had a stray post that I never got up!!  Yes, I have been known to do that. I created this tag for Markerpop a couple of weeks ago. But it was too cute not to post!!

I don't get into my Magnolias too much anymore, but they still hold a special place in my heart. I just haven't been all that impressed with the last couple of releases. A few of them look off...like there heads are popping out of strange areas and the proportions just aren't right. Anyways, where I used to want the entire release, lately I have only been liking one or two.

I like this tag because It allowed me to use up some scraps!! I added some stitching and a sentiment and I was done. Easy peasy.

I colored Princess Tilda with Copic markers.

Thanks for coming by!

Maggie Heart Treat Box

Good morning! Happy Valentines day!  Lucky me just got back from a fabulous trip to Mardi Gras! Our first time and it was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!  I'm tired and exhausted and will share more later....but since today is Valentines day I wanted to share with you my last project!!   A little treat box.

So simple to do. Cut out 2 heart shapes using whatever die or die cutting machine you have. Then I took a strip of cardstock that was 3" x 6". I scored 1/2 on each side of the 3" sides. Then I scored in the middle of the 6" long side. I then cut a notch at that score mark so that I could fold it. I adhered the strip to the hearts to form a box. I then added a simple strip of cardstock for the handle.
Since these do not stand straight, I would use a cello bag filled with candy for the stuffing!

I have used Tilda with Cozy Heart from Magnolia. The paper is XOXO from American Crafts.

Thanks for looking today!

Oh Mr. Grey....

Hey there! Quick post today. I'm trying to get all my valentine cards posted!! Seems simply huh, but it's not. I am super busy this week. So much going on and so much to do.

This is actually a card front. I made it because I was framing it for the hubs. I love this image. Yes I was one of those people who got hooked on the 50 shades series. Yes I thought the writing was crap....but I wasn't reading it for the writing!!!

This is a Digi from Saturated Canary, but you can get it in rubber now as well. The paper is Devoted from Carta Bella. Love this line! The colors are beautiful. I grabbed the sentiments from a valentine set by The Greeting Farm.  The Die is from La La land Crafts - love those hearts.

Thanks for looking!

Tracy

Fairy wishes....

Note:  This is my second post today. Scroll down to see Shy Fairy from Some Odd Girls latest release...

I guess I am having a Fairy kinda week.  My earlier post was all about Fairies as is this one!

I used Summer Flower Tilda from Magnolia. She is so sweet, love how her little legs look, kinda bowed out.  I used copics to color her and did a dotted background. I just grabbed some random colors that I saw in the papers I was using and layered them on. I was so excited that I was finally able to use that ribbon! I bought it so long ago and never had something that it would look right with. It's gorgeous and went perfectly, IMO, with this paper! ;-)

Thanks for looking today and remember to scroll down to see Shy Fairy from Some Odd Girl!

Love you!

Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, my house stayed clean this week so I had alot of me time.  Not to mention we enjoyed some company with friends.  For Superbowl we kept it low key this year and just stayed home. I made a few Sm. appetizers and we just hung out with the family. Perfect end to a great weekend. Ravens won to boot!

I must admit I haven't been a fan of the latest Maggies coming out. Gasp....I know..I know. But I did LOVE this cutie.  I think it was the ONLY one I bought from that line...which is so not like me!! :-)

This maggie is called Tilda with Heart.  She is colored with Copic markers. The paper is Devoted from Carta Bella.  Love the colors in this line.

Thank for looking today. I have lots coming up this week, so check back often! ;-)

All I want.....is some FB Candy and YOU!

Hello!  How is everybody....sorry it's been so quiet on the blog lately. Between the Holidays and being sick I have had no mojo!!  This week I am trying to get things organized, cleaned and ready for my Thirty One party I am having.  I had a HUGE Failed attempt at making Macarons last night too. If they didn't take so much in terms of money and prep, I wouldn't mind failing at making them in honor of learning the technique properly....however...it gets costly!!  I am going to try again tonight, I spent a little while last night getting a few more pointers. I think mine failed because I didn't fold them enough. So it was too stiff.  Whatever.... If they don't come out again....I'm done and I will wait til I am in NYC and go to Bouchon Bakery, which have EXCELLENT Macarons, to get my fix!

Don't let me lose you yet. I have a card to share and some FACEBOOK Candy below.

I used Tilda with Little Rudolph from the Magnolia Little Christmas Collection.  She is so sweet!  The sentiment is from Some Odd Girl - GingerBread Kaylee set.

Copic Colors:
Red: R24, R27, R29, W4
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E51, E53, E33
Gray/White: C1, C2
Deer: E42, E43, E44, E47

So now on to the good stuff.  I am having a Facebook "Fan" page candy giveway!! Help me get to 400 likes by "Liking" my facebook page and you can win some candy. There are additional ways to win as well!  If you do one of the following you can also get and "extra" entry:

1. Share it on your facebook page
2. Share it on your blog page by either linking it on yoru sidebar or in a blog post.
3. New follower to my blog - http://tracysstampingcorner.blogspot.com

If you do either one of these things - Please leave me a comment on my FACEBOOK PAGE to let me know!!

Think Pink - Blog Hop

It's time for a Magnolia-Licious Blog hop! This months theme is "Think Pink".  If you arrived here from Mindy's Blog, you are on the right track. If not, you might want to start at the beginning with the Magnolia-Licious Hightlights because I am certain you will not want to miss all the sweet treats that the DT have for you this month!!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is an annual international health campaign organized by major companies every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.  The Pink Ribbon symbol was used in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder as the symbol of The Breast Cancer Research Fund she founded and is used to symbolize the fight against the disease.  We also honor those that have fought the battle and who are currently fighting the battle while raising awareness to ALL women to be aware of the symptoms and to be proactive against the disease.   Want to find out more?  The National Breast Cancer Foundation HERE for those in the US and globally at the PinkRibbon.org site HERE!
  • In 2011 Nearly 1.5 million women across the world were told they had breast cancer
  • One-third of breast cancer deaths can be decreased with early detection and treatment
  • In the US 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime, an estimated 527 women are diagnosed in the US with breast cancer each day
The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women!  We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!!  To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in.  Each DT gal has created some Sweet-PINK treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images.  You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious   .  So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too!

For my treat box I used Tilda with Christmas Baking. She is currently available in the store. I colored her with Copic markers. The Breast Cancer Awareness was hand drawn by myself. I then colored it and cut it out.

I created the box myself. I knew I wanted a rectangular box, so I just sketched some dimensions and made the box lid a tad bigger. It was the perfect size for my chocolate chip cookies!

So next on the hop is going to be Patti Jo!!  So hop on over to her blog and see what sweets she is sharing!

Hi There -

Good morning! It's time for another Ribbon Carousel Challenge!!
This week our favorite Aussie Crewmate Danielle Daws is challenging us to create a project using fall colors. Yep. Summer is coming to and end so lets get ready for the Fall!  It can't get here soon enough for this Floridian. I'm sick of the hot weather.....could weather would be very welcomed right about now.

This week I used a card that I colored up a VERY long time ago. I'm not especially thrilled with the coloring, but I love the stamp. I'm not usually a fan of the "older" magnolias. I think they have funky faces, but I do like this one. Not exactly sure why, but it grew on me.  The paper is from Jillybean Soup - Country Pumpkin Chowder. I used some Red Jute to make a bow. The wood button is from Prima.

If my memory serves me correct - I used the following Copic Colors:
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E42, E43, E44, E47
Shirt:  YG61, YG65, YG68, E99
Scarf - R22, R24, R29, W4
Jeans: B91, B93, B95
Shoes: E42, E44, E43, E47
Grass- E44, YG61, YG63, YG67

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to head over the Ribbon Carousel Blog to see the other DT creations and We hope you play along with us this week!

1 Stamp - 2 Ways Hop....

Good morning! It's the third Monday of the month and that means it's time for the Magnolia-licious Design Team Blog HOp!! This months theme is a 2 for 1 Holidays. We are taking a holiday stamp and using it 2 ways. First we are using it for the Holiday it was intended for and then for an entirely different holiday. We want to show you how versatile stamps can be. There are some awesome creations by the girls so make sure you hop around and check them ALL out! If you arrived from Sharon Caudle's blog, you are on the right track, If you not you may want to start at the Magnolia-licious Highlights and hop along.

Here is what I created for you......

Ok so I know what you are thinking....Baby - that's not a HOLIDAY...well you are correct. I had EVERY intention of making this card a Valentine's Day card and at the last minute, literally as I was putting it together I said, awww, this would be so cute with a Baby Banner. So I changed it. When I started up loading my cards I realized what I had done!! Yikes...so just image the words Baby saying LOVE! haha

For both of my cards I used Tilda wants a Hug from the christmas collection. Sadly I did not see it in the store at the moment. However, you can check with Diana and see when it will be available again. It's all colored with Copics. The paper is Echo Parks - Very Merry. The large scallop and Banner is from MFT.  Do you just love that Red Silk ribbon?? I know I do! I picked that up over at the Ribbon Carousel.

Copic Colors:
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20, W2
Hair - E42, E43, E44, E47
Clothes - R22, R24, R27, R29, W4, W5, G21, G24, G28, G29
Background - W7, W5, W4, W2, W1
The baby card is also colored with copics. The Christmas stamp has Holly's in her hair so i just used a Copic Multiliner and drew in a loopy ribbon to cover them up. The pink border is an Antique Lace doohickey.  Have you checked out ALL the dies Magnolia-licious is carrying now? Wowza, if you haven't you must!!  She has Memory Box, Cherry lynn, Marianne, Magnolia Doohickeys and more!!  The paper is Carta Bella - Paris Girl.

Copic colors:
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20, W2
Clothes - RV10, R81, R83, R85, W2, W4
Hair - E51, E53, E33, Multiliner

Thanks for looking now head on over to the VERY talented Mindy Baxter's to see what she has created for us today!!

Yummy for your Tummy

Good morning!! So In case you hadn't seen last week, I am now a member of the Magnolia-licious Senior Design Team! yay!  This week Cabio has challenged us to a project, she would like to see ANYTHING BUT a CARD!!  Well as you will see below, I did both.

Are you addicted to Pinterest??? I am. Seriously, it's like an illness or something. I can't NOT go on there and look for yummy recipes or inspiration. Pinterest is bad too, it makes you feel like ANYBODY can some of these projects. Ha...I wish! There are actually blogs out there dedicated to busting "pins" now. Funny stuff too!

Anyways, I was surfing some pins a few weeks ago and came by this super easy box from Cosmo Cricket using 1 - 12x12 piece of cardstock!  Yep..thats all!  There is step by steps and a video to show you how to do it too.

The little tag is part of the latest release - I used the Mini Tilda with Carrots.  Magnolia-licious is selling them in sets of 2 and they are a deal!  You get Mini Tilda with Corn along with Mini Tilda with Carrots.
This box is the perfect size to stash some treats or cookies. The inside space measures out to about 3 inches high by 2 inches wide and 6 inches long.
I had just made some yummy homemade chocolate chip cookies so I stashed mine with those! ;-)

I  decided to make a card to go along with my little box. For the card I used Tilda with Cherries. Both projects are colored with Copic Markers. I used copics to create the cloud background as well. The Tilda lace border die is a Magnolia Doohickey Die.  The Ribbon is Yellow Vintage Seam Binding from The Ribbon Carousel.

Now come on over to the Magnolia-licious Highlights blog and see all the other wonderful projects by this fabulous DT.

Birthday Wishes - Magnolia-licious

Good morning and welcome to our next Colour Challenge at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. So it's officially summer in our house. School is out and the kids are already bored!!!  Poor things. Gosh what I wouldn't do for 10 weeks off of work for no other reason than to chill out and relax!   Those kiddos have a pretty busy schedule though, so hopefully they won't be terribly bored. We wouldn't want that, now would we?

We had a busy weekend. My nephew came in town so we hung out at a friends house playing volleyball until a torrential downpour came. Ended the night watching that horrible NBA game between the Celtics and Heat. I really wanted Celtics to win. Not only am I a huge fan of them but truth be told, they are getting old and some of their contracts are up....so I really wanted them to get to the finals again!!! Yes, I am being a poor sport about it and I don't care. Living in Florida I get tormented about being a Celtic Fan. Not to mention, I am originally from Ohio, so I do root for some of those teams and LeBron use to be my favorite player and now I would like for nothing more than him to FAIL! LOL  Yes...I said it. I think the boy needs to be humbled for another year!!  So GO OKLAHOMA THUNDER...;-)

This weeks Color inspiration is -  Pink, Orange, White and Green....

I used Tilda w/Balloon, which is available in the Magnolia-licious Store.  I used a the dot technique for the background. The papers are from Authentique. That beautiful Bakers Twine color is cantaloupe and it is available at The Ribbon Carousel.

Be sure to come by the Challenge blog and check out all the brilliant creations from the other DT.  Join us in the challenge to win a $25.00 Gift Certificate to the Magnolia-licious Store.

Happy Easter with Magnolia

Hey there Maggie Lovers!  Did anybody get to see The Hunger Games this weekend? I did and I thought the movie was pretty darn good. I still don't like the fact the book/movie is about kids having to kill each other....but it was a great book and an equally great movie. We had a family outing on Friday night to see it and then grabbed some really fancy dinner afterwards at Moe's..lol  Told you it was fancy! lol We can't help it...we have been waiting for our 2 favorite places to be located closer to home and we finally got a Five Guys and a Moe's in the last couple months. I try to stay away from Five Guys though....not the healthiest thing KWIM.

The rest of the weekend was just busy. I did pencil in Sunday for some much needed house cleaning. I hate that. Stamping was calling my name all day but I shut the door to the craft room and stayed away. My house needed some TLC after being sick for a week then away on vacation for almost 2 weeks and this past week we were hardly home. So I feel much better now that it is all clean and in order. I still won't be able to craft for the next few days though. I have family in town so I plan to hang out with them some. I am so behind on creating!!

Today we are having an inspiration challenge over on the Magnolia-licious Challenge .  The very talented Angela Wood picked out the following for our inspiration.

I was so happy to get ONE easter card completed and so bummed that is is only one!! I love making easter cards and little treat boxes, etc. I just haven't had the time this year, so sad really!

I used Tilda w/Newly Hatched Chick. I didn't see her available in the store but if you are interested check with Diana and she can let you know when it may be available.  I used Copics to color my image and added some distressing with some Tim Holtz distress inks around my paper. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Please hop on over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog and have a look at the other DT's Creations. Some of the girls really outdid theirselves, there are some amazing baskets and box creations this month you won't want to miss. As always if you play along with us you will be entered to win a chance for a $25.00 gift certificate for the Magnolia-licious store!

Happy Birthday - Magnolia-licious

Color challenge time at Magnolia-licious! Teamie, Angela Wood, wants to see the any 3 colors of the rainbow used! I have chosen Green, Blue and Orange!

Today I used Tilda with Heart Balloons. She is from the latest Sweet Crazy Love collection.  She is available in the Magnolia-licious store!  I colored her with copic markers. I used very little color in the balloons because I was trying to keep them looking transparent.  Paper is MME, sentiment is Stampin' up. Everything else is from my huge stash of "stuff" lol.

Hop on over to the Challenge blog to check out the other creations from the DT.  As always, Diana the owner of Magnolia-licious, will be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to one random winner of the challenge blog.  So we hope you play along with us!

Be mine - Magnolia

I just got back from playing Trivia with some friends at a local sports bar, which we try to do once a week...and we came in first place! yay us!  We actually come in the top 3 quite frequently...but it's always fun to get 1st!  It was crazy too, we had a 4 way tie (which NEVER happens) and we won the tie breaker. Question was, (it's always a number and something ridiculous for a tie breaker). How many square miles is Alabama??? We guessed 53,000...it was 52,423!!  Yay, we were that close! Pretty sweet, huh!

Talk about a simple card, huh?  hehe I cut out all those cute hearts with a spellbinders die that I just had to buy. I was trying to stay away from it, but it kept calling to me! Everything else is pretty self explanitory. The Tilda with rose is colored with Copics and the sentiment is from the dollar bin at Michaels!

Challenges:
Divas by Design - Love
7 Kids College Fund - Red, Pink, White
Stamp and create - Valentines
Magnolia Down Under- Love
Totally Tilda - Pink and Red

Thats all for tonight!

Jingle Bells......Tealight Card

Hello Bloggie friends. Another late night for me. I was trying to wrap up some things for a class that I have on Thursday.  I thought I would hop on here and post another card.

This is Jingle tilda and she is from the latest christmas collection. I colored her with copic markers.  The background was done in copics too. I really love how the background came out. I was trying to get the effect that it was late in the evening and I think I achieved that pretty well. I could have went a little darker, but I didn't want to screw it up! ;-)

I ;printed out the sentiment from a graphics site.

It's a tealight card. It will hold 6 tealights. Please excuse the color of the tealights. I bought oodles of Ginger Pumpkin from partylite some time ago and thats what I had laying aroung the house!

This tealight card was actually pretty simple to create once I get the dimensions down. All my scoring instruments are in inches and all the instructions I kept finding were metric!  I believe I got this tutorial from Stampartic Blog.

I'm exhausted and am calling it a night. I will fill ya in on more details in the morning!!!

papercrafting Journey- Anthing Goes

Blue/Silver - Color Challenge

Good Morning! So are you getting all ready for the upcoming holidays? Did you already finish up your holiday shopping? Are you one of THOSE people? You know...the ones that start shopping like the day after christmas and have their entire shopping list finished by the time labor day rolls around!! LOL  I can do that kind of shopping for adults, but when it comes to the kids, I find it extremely hard to do it! I mean, things change so rapidly. One month they want a DSi, the next thing you know it's a "baby" toy and they are to old for one. So with the kids I tend to finish the majority of my christmas shopping right around this time of November. I am hoping this weekend to get it completed!!  After that, I usually pick up a few things here and there...but the important stuff is done! It's getting harder to find places to keep it hidden until Christmas though!  My son totally scouted out the last hiding spot. My other spot was in these big storage units that I keep my Department 56 Village in. However, I'm not planning on putting up my village this year (long story) so there goes that! They were perfect too because they locked! So I'm going to have to get creative it looks like this year! Luckily as the kids get older the presents do get smaller but much more expensive!!

To the challenge. It's a new one here at Magnolia-licious Challenge blog. This weeks challenge was picked by the uber talented Pat Frank. She wants us to do something in Blue and silver!

I picked up these papers last year from Bo Bunny. Love this line! So glad that I had some left because when I saw the challenge I thought it would be perfect for that paper!   I left off the sentiment because I'm just not sure what i am going to put on it yet!!!   You can't see it in the photos but there is lots of glitter on the snowflakes and on the star she is holding.  Star Tilda can be purchased in the Magnolia-Licious Store!!

Please hop over to the Challenge blog and see all the inspiration from the other DT members! Don't forget to get your entry in, you have 2 weeks until the next challenge. The prize is a $25.00 gift certificate to the Magnolia-licious Store!

Challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Christmas
Party Time Tuesdays - Bling it on (hard t osee in pictures, but it's all blinged out with sparkles and stones)
Tip Top Tuesday - Anything Christmas

Jellypark - Christmas

Post It Note - Magnolia-licious DT

Good morning!  It's color challenge week at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Octobers color challenge is to use shades of blues and greens.

It's a little post-it note holder. Super easy to make and makes a nice, easy, inexpensive office gift.  It would also be great for a little thank you token to a customer if you are into direct sales, etc. Basically all you do is cut your cardstock to 6 3/4 x 3 1/4  then scored it at 3 1/4 and 3 1/2. If you have the thicker post it pads, than you would have to adjust your score lines!!
I used a Mini Magnolia for the front. She is called "Sweet Tilda" and you can find her in the Magnolia-licious Store.  She is matted on the lacey circles from Spellbinders. The paper is the Gabrielle collection by Bo Bunny. Border punch and butterfly are Martha Stewart.

Please take a moment and stop by and see the other creations by our fabulous DT. We hope that you are able to join us in the challenge. The prize is a $25.00 Gift Certificate to the Magnolia-licious Store!
