Happy Bee Day - {MP}

Good morning! It's hump day and as usual I am looking forward to the upcoming weekend. I have some plans to do nothing, which I can't wait for.

First I would like to share with you a card I created for Markerpop.

The stamp I have used today is from Tiddly Inks and it is called Happy Bee Day! It just screams spring to me. Love it. The paper is from Echo Park, it's called For the Record. I added some Princess Pink - Bakers twine and topped it with the sentiment that is included with the set. I also added a bit of yellow distressing around the edges of my paper.

For the Happy Bee Day image, I colored it with copic markers. I did add some dark shading with a pastel pencil. The copic colors used are:

Body: Y11, Y15, E33 (brown pastel pencil)
Hair: E21, E23, E25, E29
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Far Out Box {MP}

Good morning. Today I am posting on the Markerpop blog. I have a box that I created using one of thosewood boxes that you can pick up from Michaels or JoAnns.  I used some Mister Huey Color Misters to color the box. I just sprayed it on and then used a paper towel to rub it in. It was a quick and easy way to give the natural wood colored box some color. Plus it dried super fast....which made me happy!

My daughter is getting old and gone are the days of princesses. So I thought  Far Out from the new Doodle Garden line from My Favorite Things would be cute to replace her "baby" stuff. She likes using these types of boxes to put hair clips and things in it.

I used some old MME paper I had in my stash, same with the buttons.  Far Out is colored with copics and I did some light shading with prisma color pencils.

Thanks for coming by today.

You devil....

Todays my day for posting over on the Markerpop Blog!  I'm still trying to get all my seasonal cards posted and here is another one.....

This little Devil is called Devilish Lucy from C.C. Designs. I used some Black hemp twine and looped it a few times. I used a punch on the sides and weaved the twine in through paper. She is popped up a little with some foam squares to allow for the hemp. It's hard to see, but the heart button is a wood button from Prima. It wasn't the color I needed, so I just colored over it with my copic markers. The original was very light, pastel colors.  Did you know you could use your copics for more than coloring on paper??

Thanks for looking today and if you are going out to a Halloween Party - Have fun and be safe!!

Life is like.....

It's 3-D Thursday at MarkerPop, so I am showcasing a frame that I created for my Bff and Sister's (from another mother) Birthday.  She loves to ride bikes.  She also happens to love when I use any of the uptown girls, they are her favorite. So when Stamping Bella released this cutie a few months back I knew it had to be mine. I love how it came out and so simple to do.

The stamp comes with this qoute, but it wouldn't fit where I wanted it. So I computer generated it. This stamp is rather large, so I marked the corners of the matte so I new where to stamp it.

For my coloring I used a mixture of Copics and Prisma Color Pencils.

Party like a Rockstar!

**Second post today - if you are looking for YNS - Fun Friday please scroll down or click HERE**

Hello Peeps!  It's Friday....I'm doing my happy dance. I need this weekend sooooo bad!  Tomorrow night I'm heading south to go to see Toby Keith with a friend and my sis. Should be a good time. I WILL NOT be making the mistake of NOT tailgaiting this time!  I did that for the Jason Aldean concert and I truly think we were the ONLY people not tailgating. So yes, I am succumbing to peer pressure...I will have my cooler with my Lemonade and Vodka in it! ;-) I will not be chugging away at beer bongs though!

Ok...enough about my bad habits. Today is my day to post on the Markerpop blog. I used Dancin' Mae by Some Odd Girl.

For this card I used Copic Markers to color her up. (Colors are below). That perfect sentiment is from S&P Company- Bold Sentiments III - Birthday. The paper is Ambrosia by Bo Bunny. The button is from the Hello Sunshine Collection by Bo Bunny and the twine is Purple Plum Divine Twine.

Copic colors:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R02
Outfit: YG11, YG13, YG17, V01, V12, V15
Hair: E40, E42, E43, E44, E47
Shoes: C00, C1,C3
Background: B000, B0000, W2, W4

Don't you just love the Some Odd Girl images? I know I do!!!  Don't forget there is a large Pre-Order of the new release in the store. Hopefully you joined us last week for the fabulous Blog Hop we had. Wow, talk about some amazing cards! If you hadn't looked yet, do go check them out.
That's all for today. Thanks for looking!!

Welcome Little One...

Good Morning! It's friday..let's do a happy dance. This week was crazy. I had off on Wednesday for the holiday and it felt like I had 2 mondays...NOT COOL! I have very little plans over the weekend, which I am seriously looking forward to. My house is a wreck...well part of it. I have acquired all this "stuff" and I just don't know what to do with it.  I hate yard sales, I hate craigs list...I hate giving away stuff all the time...lol I want my garage back!!!

Enough of my ranting...MarkerPop (formerly iCopic) is back and the girls have been loading up the MarkerPop blog with some AMAZING creations. Today's my day, and I used Bella with Balloons by Wild Rose Studios for my card. I love this line, the elephant is just so stinkin' cute. Reminds me of Dumbo and I loved Dumbo as a child, still do, I just hate that it makes me cry every single time!!

It's all colored with Copics but be on the look out, I will soon be sharing some creations using the new Shinhan Markers that Markerpop is now also carrying!! I used some gorgeous Queen blue Seam Binding from The Ribbon Carousel
