You're Awesome - Madden

I am so patting myself on the back! I managed to eat extremely well last night for the Superbowl. Yes, this is a huge accomplishment for me! I have none of that stuff called willpower..none I tell ya!  Great game last night. I am not a fan of either. I started watching rooting for the Giants but quickly changed my loyalty to the Patriots all because of an obnoxious Giants fan that happened to be sitting where...behind me of course!! Not only could he NOT sit, but he was loud, annoying and there! haha

This is the second year we went out to watch the Superbowl and I must say, I am not a fan. I would MUCH rather sit at my home or somebody elses, with friends and good food. It's so much more enjoyable.

So does my Madden look familiar? Yup, those little hair hightlights were defnitely inspired by yours truly. hehe My hair is more brown with red hightlights though! See it here.  The Greeting Farm's last release included Madden. I used my new copic N's for her hair. I never thought I needed or wanted them but I'm so glad that I picked them up recently. I love them.  My red highlights were done using R30's. The khaki colors are E50's.  I picked up a nice sentiment set from MFT that included the You're Awesome sentiment. The paper is from the Lost and Found MME collection.  I kept this card super simple, for me, and I don't know about you, but I love how it came out. It helps that Madden is super cute too!

2 for you! TGF

Everybody ready to hang out with friends, eat lots of food we shouldn't be eating and watch the Superbowl tonight?  I guess I am. I'm not a huge football fan, however, I do partake the in the Superbowl ritual with the rest.  We plan on hanging out with some friends.  My favorite part and I am sure many others....the commercials. I always find it funny how there is so much noise in the room while the game is on and the minute the commercials play...silence! LOL

Up until the superbowl - I will be playing in my room. I hadn't planned on it last night as I wasn't in the mood, but I put on some Vampire Dairies and I was good and happy crafting until the around 2 am! Anybody else watch VD? I know I have mentioned this before, but I just love that show. I dont know what is is...wait yes I do...Damon! haha   Needless to say, I watched 4 or 5 episodes of that and got some crafting done. My coloring mojo was WAY off...but I did get some card assembly done! hehe

These bunnies are from the set "Lucky Bunnies" from The Greeting Farm. They are so adorable and I LOVE that the sentiments are included with them. I HATE looking for sentiments. Argh...drives me mad! hehe

Btw - my 7 yr old daughter started (with my help of course) her own blog -Kare Bears Corner. She posted a card on it today and I am quite sure she would LOVE some love on it! ;-)

Hey there!!! I am exhausted!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been fighting a cold for a couple of days and I am crossing my fingers it doesn't get worse  before it gets better...I have things to do KWIM.  Today I spent a good part of my morning at my LSS - A Scrapbook Store and More.  We had class and did some fun things and chatted about all her adventures at CHA. SO JEALOUS!!  I thought for sure I would come home and play in my room but I'm just not feeling it tonight, ever had one of those days? So I figured I best get these valentine cards posted before it's all over with!!

I picked up Sweetheart Marci  from new favorite store iCopic! Yep...when I can order something and get it as quick as I do with them...I can't help buy call it a fav!! I love that!

Anyways, those ADORABLE papers are from MME and I bought those from my other fav store - SCACD and yes, I like it for the same reason...super fast shipping!! LOL  Btw I am NOT getting paid or any freebies to say this about either..it's just my experience with them!!

The Love You sentiment is from My Favorite Things...love MFT!   Are we seeing a theme here...love card..love stores..love Marci....hehehehe

Journey Journal Page.....MMA

I'm a little late posting, but today I created a Journal page using the latest release - Stamp It from Crafter's Companion. I had fun creating things with mixed media - it's messy, there's no rhyme or reason, but MMA is always fun to play with. I used all sorts of mediums on this, Tim Holtz color wash, Tatter Angels Glimmer Mist, Tatter Angles Glam, and Tim Holtz Distress inks to name a few..

I tore the stamps out and distressed the edges with Distress Inks

I added some texture using some paste past and punchanella.

The glittered areas was done using Tattered Angels GLAM.

The three stamps that I used from Stamp It are:  Destination, Journey and Eiffel Sketch. They are ALL available in the store...right now!!

My Valentine - Magnolia

So I went into my hairdresser and said...give me something FUN! I want FUN highlights...whatever, surprise me!! ;-) purple, red...whatever, your choice!!   Here is what I got!

I love it!! It's fun! It's flirty...it's a little goth (thats what my dear daughter said) hehe It's ME!!

 Terrible pic, it's all pixelated (sp??) because I grabbed it from facebook! hehe

And.... it kinda goes with my card below.....hehe

Awww, isn't she adorable! Love that crazy curly hair!!

I used a copic multiliner to draw the wonky border around her and the striped paper.  The sentiment is from a dollar bin at Michaels and its matted on a label die from Spellbinders. I'm pretty sure those cute papers are from Authentique..(love authentique, them and MME my my heart flutter!!)

Anyways, nothing fancy going on here...

CC - You're Sweet Box

*3rd post for today (I know busy day!! hehe Scroll down to see the others....;-)

It's challenge time at Crafter's Companion and the them this week is "Something Sweet".  Well I was excited because I knew exactly which stamp I was going to use. I LOVE this little "You Deserve a Treat" From SWALK.

I decided to make a simple 5x5x2 box using my Ultimate Tool by Crafter's Companion. It's kind of a nifty little thing. One one said it says "Box base" and then the other it has "Box Lid".  That way it gives just the right about of space so that you can lay the lid over the box part. Worked out quite nicely.

Isn't she so cute!  I added some glossy accents to the cup and chocolates. I colored the couch with my copics but then wet back in with a Sharpie White poster pen and added dots so it looked more like fabric. I used some W's and a blender pen on the "floor". I wanted it to look like texture, similiar to carpet.

I cut out the border before I put it all together, makes it much easier. 

I then filled it up with lots of yummy treats which are TORTURING me.....lol  I'm on a diet, yet again...story of my life!!!  I can't have any of that....like zero, zilch...nada!! Luckily I can close it up and not look at it!  However, this girl knows how to smell some chocolate from a mile away!!

Crush on You!

Morning!  I'm here today with iCopic!  I was so excited when they started carrying the Some Odd Girl stamps, they are stinkin' cute.  So I picked up a few and they arrived on Friday so of course I had to stamp and color them!   I really love that they come with little things, like the hearts on my card, and with sentiments.  Next to actually putting together cards, I hate finding sentiments!!! Anybody else with me on this? lol

This stamp is called "Crushin' Gwen" and you can find her HERE in the store. I colored her with Copics, which iCopic also carrys.  I used a scalloped spellbinder for the circle and punched out the "eyelets" with a basic hole punch. The papers are from a My Minds Eye lost and Found 6x6 paper pad.  The heart border punch is Martha Stewart.

Thank You - Inky Challenge

Hey there I have a couple..yes a few...post for you today! So be sure to check all 3 cards out!! Today is challenge day at Inky Impressions. This weeks challenge is to use Pearls or Bling! I of course choose pearls, I'm not all into bling lately! I don't know whats gotten over me! haha

This little cutie is  Lili's Stuffed Bunny from Inky Impressions.  Just look at the details that are in these stamps!  I won't lie some can be challenging to color with all the details, but I love it and the finished products speak for themselves!!  I used some MME paper and kraft CS. Cut my image and matte out with a spellbinder die.  Finished it off with a bow, button and of course PEARLS!
