Witch Tilda Shoe

**if you are here looking for the SNB Blog Christmas Blog Hop - HERE is the link. It's two post below this post!!!**

Afternoon everybody!  Not much going on here. Still out with an achy back, but it's seems to be doing better. I didn't do too much today hoping that it would help. So far so good. So halloween is just around the corner and every year I make some kinda of treat bag or box for my kids to take to school. Sometimes I think I am insane for doing this, but it makes me happy.  I mean, most of the kids could care less that I handmade those boxes! I think I saw this little witch shoe in a Papers crafts magazine a few years back. We made them at one of my workshops. There is alot of cutting, so these little ones didn't go to the kids classes, but they did go to some people at work and to their teachers. I have to find something cute and but simple for this year for the kids.

My previous post was using the little Witch Tilda on a card, she is so adorable thought she would be the perfect touch to a Treat Witches Shoe!

Tilda was colored with copic markers. I used YG01, YG00, YG03, BV08, BV04, BV02,BV00, 100, C6 and C3. The white accent was done with a white Sharpie poster marker. My Michaels finally started carrying these. They had poster and paint markers. I do not like the Paint ones, but the poster marker ROCKS.  I'm not sure where the papers came from....just grabbed them out of my stash.  Most important - the chocolates are Dove Milk Chocolate w/caramel!!!! hehe  If you are looking for the template from this you can find it HERE!

Bewitching Tilda

Evening, FIRST - Scroll below this post if you have come over to view the SNB Blog Hop. It's the next one!!

Second,  I can't believe I got this done tonight! Lucky me, I have been pretty much out of commission for the entire weekend. I started getting a bit of a twitch in my back on Friday night....by Saturday afternoon, I pretty much couldn't do anything. But of course, being a mom I did!!! Well, I am paying for it today! Worst part I had a craft day planned with my stamping friend, Lisette! We'll have to get together another day.  It took me all day of doing a little at a time, because I can't just sit, to get my little tilda done, but I did get one done and I like how she turned out. The picture didn't come out great. I think it looks way better in person. I sprayed the entire card with Pearl Glitter Mist, so with the light it kinda washed her out.

Tild is colored with Copic markers. The papers are from My Minds Eye. On the inside of the card I used a spider web punch from EK Success. I distressed the edges of everything, because thats just what I do!!! I didn't have any black flowers, but no worries, I just made some rolled flowers. I like them. I think they kinda looked spooky - goes with the Halloween theme nicely.  Instead of using leaves, I used some raffia. The hatpin was made by my mom. She gets upset because I don't wear the jewelry that she makes. It's not that it is not nice, it's just not my style. So she was pretty excited when I asked her to make me some hatpins. She will be especially happy when she sees that I actually used one in a card!! haha

The sentiment was handmade. Ok...so I wanted it to looked distressed and old, well It looked good, then I kept messing with it, so it looks crappy instead. But, it is what it is.......I will grow to like it! lol  I picked up the lace at JoAnns. Cut out my little Witch Tilda and pop dotted her.

Thats about all!

The I think they were E47, E44, E43, E42, R29, R27, R24, R22, R21 (can't remember the greens). The nose was colored with Copic markers then I put a thin layer of christmas Red Stickles on it. I embossed the cardstock with one of the new holiday embossing folders from Sizzix.

Christmas Fairy - Mo's digi

Crazy week at work this week, but I did get a chance to print out this adorable Digi from Mo Manning, Christmas Fairy Holly. I think this was one of my first images I purchased from Ms. Manning. She was too cute to pass up.

I picked up these adorable papers from Hiedi  Grace and I ended up making the image so large (which I do like the size) that the cute paper got lost!  I still like it.

Christmas Holly is colored with Copic markers. The paper is from Heidi Grace. Sentimenst is from Catslife Press. I used liquid glass from Close to my heart on the snowglobe and stickles on her wings.

LOTV - Christmas Card

Hello! So school started in my household yesterday! The kids were thrilled to go back (ok, maybe not thrilled, but mildly excited). My son is in 5th and gets to change classes this year, so that is a big deal to him. My daughter is in 1st grade so she isn't one of the little kids anymore.  So thats pretty exciting for her! Nice thing for me.....I get to go back on my regular work hours. So I get home quite a bit earlier, which makes for a happier mommy. Also, gives me a little more time to craft.

A purchased a few LOTV stamps and finally got to ink one up.  Thats the bad thing about wanting it all, you get all of these stamps and can't find the time to ink most of them up. Such a sad situation!!  I also have a huge folder full of stamped images just begging to be colored. But, I did get around to inking this little guy up and coloring him. I did however run some of that red into his coat! Ack! Don't you just hate that....all that work into coloring and something bleeds or you make a little goof. Well, I haven't got the time to go back and redo!! So it is, what it is! (Still cute as can be!)

This little guy is colored with Copic markers. The papers are from my stash. The DT is from Cloud Nine. I put stickles on the stars and ornaments. Hard to see in the picture.

Good News - Elisabeth Bell DT

I recieved some AWESOME news last night.....I was one of the 8 selected to be on the new Elisabeth Bell DT. She was going to announce it last night at 10 my time.  I was kinda antsy all day, I thought I had a pretty good chance but didn't want to jinx myself. So to take my mind off, hubby and I watched a few episodes of Nip/Tuck. (we never watched it before, playing catch up on Netflix streaming now!! Awesome show, btw!)  When it finally got done, I hopped onto my facebook (which I would do no matter what because I am a total Facebook addict and how can life go on if I do not know that my friends are going to bed, or if they had a good day!! hahaha Ok, I guess I need to get a life!) Anyways, she posted the DT team on her blog, when I saw my name I will admit I got a weeee bit excited. I think hubby thought I was a nutcase.  He just doesn't get it.

This is also the same man that couldn't understand why I was so excited when I sold my first card!!  He was like....ok so you sat in your craft room for how many hours to make these??? and you sold it for how much???  lol  Once again, he just doesn't get it. I mean, how cool is it when somebody actually wants to buy and in my opinion pay decent money for one of your cards!  I personally think it's wonderful!  He also views my cards as sentimental, like each one has a little piece of me.....so I guess he redeems himself there! How sweet is that?

So in closure, I'm super excited and honored to be on the DT for Elisabeth Bell. She is an amazing artist and I have always loved her images.
