Magnolia Tissue Box - Paper Sundaes/Sent. Sundays DT
Sorry I am late, late, late!!! I went away for the Holiday weekend and expected to be back on Saturday afternoon. Thought I could make up my post and catch up on all of my commenting. However, we were having such a great time in Sarasota, that we decided to stay another day and i JUST got home. So I literally have 5 mins (hubs is breathing down my back for the computer) so thought I would hop on and get my post up!!!
Today I used a magnolia image on another Tissue Box Cover. I love these things!! Sentimental Sundays challenge this week is a Recipe (3 Dp's, 3 Buttons and Ribbon) while Paper Sundaes is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp...and you need to "Adorn those corners". So here is what I came up with today....

I colored up Tilda with Coat using Copic Markers, the paper is from My Minds Eye and Close to my heart. The ribbon is close to my heart. The sentiment is from Catslife Press. I downloaded the instructions on the Tissue box from Splitcoast. The snowflake is an ornament that I found at the dollar store.
Like I said, this is a SHORT post today, I will hop on later to update and add links to everything. Sorry!!

And here is my card I created for the Challenge:
I colored Tilda with Copic markers. The papers have become a re-occuring theme on my blog, they are from Bo Bunny and I just LOVE them! The matte is from the new spellbinder release, Lacey Squares. I took too squares and cut one end off to make a rectangle. Improvising, ya know! Flowers are Wild Orchid and the rest is just things from my stash. You can pick up this super cute "Santa's Little Helper" in the Magnolia-Licous store. She is just toooo precious!

100th Follower Blog Candy!!!
***This post will stay at the top until Nov. 20th - please scroll down to view all new post**
Hello!!!!!!!! I just got back from vacation. My husband and I took a trip to Key West for Fantasy Fest! All I can say is WOW! ;-) It was quite interesting but so much fun! I'll try to post a few pictures soon. Until then, I promised when I got back to have some Blog Candy up for all. Here are the rules. I know some people do not like rules, but here is my arguement. I, unlike others, do not get loads of free product sent to me (I wish I did!!) So this has all been purchased by me. If I am going to give something to you, I would expect you to want to visit my blog. KWIM? So I am requesting that you become a follower, if you are not one already. 2nd, please put this post in your sidebar of your blog, or make a post about it. Either is fine. Last - leave you name in inklinkz on below this post. That's it.
ENDS NOVEMBER 20th
2 Magnolia Stamps
1 C.C Design Stamp
4 unmounted stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie
Wood mounted Thank You Monkey (can't think of the brand and I am tooooooo lazy to go look lol)

Warm Thank you - Snowy Hug Tilda
Happy Saturday! I am so happy to be able to post a Tilda today! I have been so busy working on cards for DT's (which I equally love) that I haven't gotten an opportunity to make a card using a Maggie. Last night I had an awesome workshop with 8 ladies. It turned out great. The projects, if I do say so myself, were really great. The food was equally good. I tried out a new dip, Baked Sweet Onion Dip, Oh my...we were ALL surprised at how DeLish it was! So good, you can find the recipe at Tasty Kitchen. If you havent been to Tasty Kitchen, it's one of my favorites for finding great recipes. Ree of the Pioneer Woman put together Tasty Kitchen and I would advise you to check out her blog. It's Fantastic...hands down my favorite for cooking, photography and other little things.
So back to my card you can find this little cute Snowy Tilda over at Magnolia-Licous store, she is out of stock right now, but I am sure she will be back in soon!

I colored Snowy Hugs Tilda with Copic marker and Prisma Color pencils. The papers are a mixture of My Minds Eye and Close to My Heart. They just happened to go very well together, IMO. I punched out the snowflakes from some Martha Stewart punches and added some Liquid Applique, heated them up to get the puffiness. Then added stickles for some sparkle and some rhinestones for some Bling, bling!
The sentiment was computer generated by myself. I added a border around it with a Just-Rite border stamp. I used Flower Soft for the snow. Sewed up all the edges with my handy lil' sewing machine and Voila! Super Cute Card...IMO!
I have BLOG CANDY ending tonight....so hop on over and put your name in Mr Inklinz. Also, I am only 2 followers away from 200, which means out of all the entries, there's going to be a second drawing for another little sweet surprise! So check it out here - http://tracysstampingcorner.blogspot.com/2010/11/100th-follower-blog-candy.html
Well thats all for today. Check back tomorrow, I have 2 super cute cards to post for Sentimental Sundays and Paper Sundaes!

Magnolia - Tissue Boxes
Oh my!!! I feel like its been forever since I have done a post! Esp. with my beloved magnolias!! I have been so busy with thing the last few weeks. This week I have been busy putting together a workshop that I am having on Friday at my house. They are so much work, sometimes I ask myself WHY??? One of things we are making are Tissue Box covers. They are so adorable. So my daughter saw one and she immediately said she wanted one for her teacher...and her teacher last year. I said, "ok...they're $5 bucks each" she said...ok, then ran into her room. I hear her holler...mom, is $9 dollars ok?? I said sure. So she came out and counted out 9 bucks and 75 cents...too funny. Of course, I didn't take her money!! But it was cute that she was willing to pay some big bucks for them!
Well it is getting late and I am beat! Don't forget to check out my BLOG CANDY!! It closes this Saturday!!!!!!!! It was for my 100th follower, but somehow I have managed to pick up 88 more followers since I posted it 3 weeks ago. So....if I end up hitting 200, I'm going to do another drawing for something else! ;-) Also, if the linky isn't working right...(sorry my first time using it) just let me know in the comments. I am going to go in order and assign numbers so everybody is included!! :-)
Challenges:
Bunny Zoe Crafts - Christmas - anything but a card
Lexi Creations - Christmas - Traditional colors
Crazy 4 Challenges - Christmas
Totally Gorguss - Christmas traditional colors
Edwin with lights is colored with Copic Markers. Sneaky Tilda is colored with Distress Inks. You can pick up both of these stamps from the Magnolia-licous store HERE. The seal is from Catslife Press. All the papers are from Close to my Heart. The ribbon is also Close to my Heart. You can't really see it in the pictures but I added stickles to the Seals and to the lights and present. I got the tutorial from Splitcoast. It's super easy, especially if you have a Scor-Pal (who Magnolia-licous's very own, Diana Crick created!!) It's fabulous!

Ok so I made another card for Sentimental Sundays but I totally hated it! I was like...no...can't use that one. I don't know what it was...just wasn't diggin' it. So, with VERY little time to create I kinda cheated! ooopps! The theme was Childhood and I went and added a little Sentiment which I was going to do to begin with and combine, but got a bright Idea to do 2 separate ones! LOL So here is the same card with Sentiment added.

There will be 2 challenges a month. One will be a color challenge the other will be an inspiration challenge. Our first challenge was "Pink and Yellow". Ok so I love pink and yellow, but boy did I have a difficult time with this. lol My mind is soooooo into Autumn and Chirstmas colors I really struggled with this! LOL So I ended up doing a baby card using the new Baby tilda. You can find it over in Diana Magnolia-licous store HERE If it's out of stock, just ask and I am sure it will be back in soon. Btw, did you see what the AWESOME Prize is??? $25.00 gift certificate to the Magnolia-Licious Store!!! Pretty Sweet!

I hope you join us over at Magnolia-licous in the Challenge. Be sure to check out Dianas store, she always has great specials and if she doesn't have it stock you can bet it will be soon. Just ask!
